octenisept® is an effective and gentle choice for the antiseptic treatment of all types of small superficial wounds and to promote wound healing. It is also suitable for short-term preparatory antisepsis on mucous membranes and adjacent skin before diagnostic or surgical procedures.

Small wounds are part of everyday life—whether a scratch, cut, abrasion, or burn. Clean the wound at the earliest opportunity to support healing and reduce the risk of infection.

Immediately after injury, gently rinse the wound with lukewarm water and soap. Pat the wound dry with a clean paper towel. Make sure no water or soap residue remains in the wound area, as this reduces the disinfectant's effect.

Spray octenisept® antiseptic solution onto the wound or clean the wound with clean gauze swabs soaked in the solution once daily until fully healed. octenisept® antimicrobial effect continues for up to 48 hours.

Protect the wound from infections

For faster natural wound healing, use octenisept® wound gel to maintain moisture balance. A thin layer of wound gel acts as a barrier between the environment and the wound, helping prevent infections. Cover the wound with a plaster if needed.

Who can use the medicine?

  • Adults
  • Children and babies (from 1.5 kg body weight)
  • Pregnant and breastfeeding women

How to use?

Spray or apply the solution to the wound or mucous membrane with a moistened wound swab until the area is fully moistened. Allow the solution to act for at least 2 minutes.

If you do not feel better after 14 days, contact a doctor.
